3D Landscapes
These images were created using Geomantics' GenesisII software (3.0 alpha - freeware version), Landsat images from the Window on The UK disk given away with the Sunday Times, and Ordnance Survey NTF landform Panorama files.

GenesisII overlays the images using advanced fractalization and atmospheric techniques. This is not simple texture mapping which cannot give realistic results. Water is handled with correct reflection and refraction physics. For more information on both images and techniques contact info@geomantics.com. GenesisII can add vegetation to the models using GIS data - more images illustrating this and images of other areas to be added later!
